Chinese students of the Sakharov Moscow State Institute of Economics visited the Museum of the Great Patriotic War
On February 4, 2025 Chinese students of the Sakharov International State Ecological Institute visited the Museum of the Great Patriotic War - a unique complex, which fully recreates the events of those years. The participants of the excursion had an opportunity to learn more about the activities of the Minsk underground during the occupation, the sad history of the largest ghetto in Belarus, as well as the struggle of the Belarusian people for liberation.
The excursion covered the key stages of resistance of the Belarusian people behind enemy lines. The visitors got acquainted with unique samples of homemade partisan weapons and banners, learned about the work of the underground printing house, forest school, kitchen and hospital. They also learned about how partisans survived in the harsh conditions of forest life.
The tour was an important part of the educational program, fostering mutual understanding and cultural exchange.
