New vectors in increasing the export of Belarusian educational services to China
In the period from January 15 to 22, 2024, a visit was made by a Belarusian delegation consisting of the director of the Centrе for International Relations A.Samuilich, the director of the editorial and publishing institution "Publishing House "Pedagogical Press" E.Dubinskaya and the head of the Center for Internationalization of Education of the Grodno State University named after Ya.Kupala E.Belokoz to the People's Republic of China.
The purpose of the visit was to work out new promising areas for increasing the export of educational services to the People's Republic of China, as well as preparations for the opening of information and consulting centers on education in the Republic of Belarus in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, created by the Centrе for International Relations in cooperation with the Alliance of Economic and Commercial Advisers in China.
During the eventful visit, representatives of the Belarusian delegation held meetings with the leadership of Caofeidian Vocational Technical College, Beijing Jingshan School, Chinese Youth College of Family Education "Hand in Hand", Tangshan Maritime Vocational College, representatives of the Chinese Association for International Exchange in Education, the Chinese recruiting company "Ne Ying Education", the President Committee for the Development of Instrumental Music of National Minorities of China by Ms. Wu Jin Xin, as well as the staff of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the People's Republic of China, during which topical issues of bilateral cooperation were discussed and directions for further cooperation were identified.
The Chinese side was also presented with the possibilities of the Belarusian education system and the programs of the Centrе for International Relations, including the Educational Map of Belarus project aimed at attracting foreign citizens to the Republic of Belarus for educational and tourist purposes.
The result of the visit of the Belarusian delegation to the People's Republic of China was the signing of a cooperation agreement between Centrе for International Relations and the LLC Zhongsheng ShangYuan Technology on the creation and organization of information and consulting centers on education in the Republic of Belarus in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.
