Within the framework of the fair, the collective exposition "Education in Belarus" presented the rich potential of the Belarusian education system and demonstrated innovative educational programs, research achievements and opportunities for international cooperation of Belarusian institutions of higher education.

The event was attended by the Belarusian State Technological University in full-time format, as well as Brest State Technical University, the Belarusian State Academy of Music and the Maxim Tank Belarusian State Pedagogical University in correspondence format. The organization of the collective exposition and the visit of the Belarusian delegation was provided by the Center for International Relations of the Ministry of Education.

During the visit, on September 12, 2024, the exhibition "Education in Belarus" began in the Shougan Industrial Park. On the same day, an International educational forum in the field of Chinese language teaching was held, organized by Wuzhou Hanfeng Network Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. As part of the exhibition, negotiations were also held with the leadership of Tianjin Pedagogical University, as well as with the head of the International Programs Department, Liu Tong.

On September 13, 2024, the opening ceremony of the Educational Services section took place. The main event of the fair was an International Educational Forum, during which negotiations were held with Miron Yi, Deputy Head of the Department of International Education at Beijing University of Information Sciences and Technology.

As part of the business visit program, a round table was also held on the development of interuniversity cooperation and the development of joint educational programs with such large consulting companies as Beijing Yuanguan Educational Consulting LLC and Beijing Zhongjiao Yuuxue International Educational Technology Company, as well as with Xu Jian, Director of the International Department of Shandong University of Management.

Special attention was paid to the development of academic exchanges, the implementation of joint educational projects and the attraction of Chinese students to study in Belarus. As a result of the negotiations, agreements were reached on holding the online exhibition "Days of Belarusian Education", and 7 cooperation agreements were prepared, which are scheduled to be signed during the next visit to participate in the International Educational Exhibition "China Education Expo 2024" in Beijing in early November this year.

In addition, the collective stand was not ignored by the Chinese media.
According to the popular Chinese online information resource "People's Daily Online", the thematic exposition "Education in Belarus" aroused great interest among the visitors of the exhibition. A wide range of demonstrated projects and training programs in various specialties allowed those interested to get acquainted with the educational potential of Belarusian institutions of higher education. The collective thematic exposition of the leading Belarusian institutions of higher education has become the most in demand among Chinese applicants and among the heads of leading Chinese universities. During its operation, the Belarusian stand was visited by more than 2,000 Chinese boys and girls interested in studying in Belarus.
Reporters from People's Daily Online interviewed representatives of the delegation, noting that despite the regular participation of Belarusian institutions of higher education in various events in China, participation in CIFTIS 2024 was the debut at this prestigious exhibition.
As a result of participation in the exhibition, new contacts were established and agreements were reached on cooperation with Chinese educational and consulting organizations on the promotion of Belarusian educational services among Chinese citizens, the recruitment of students from China to Belarusian universities, the organization of academic exchanges and short-term internships, educational tourism to the Republic of Belarus, and the creation of joint educational programs.

Such large-scale exhibitions create favorable conditions for strengthening bilateral cooperation in the field of education between Belarus and China, which will contribute to the further development of the strategic partnership between our countries.
