June 11, 2020, on the basis of the Center of Information Technologies developing of the Belarusian State Pedagogical University named after M. Tank was held the 1st section of the national online seminar «Quality improvement of practical orientation in higher education: experience of implementing Erasmus + projects». The seminar was organized by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, National Erasmus + Office in the Republic of Belarus, Belarusian State Pedagogical University named after M. Tank, a group of higher education reform experts and the Center for International Relations of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus supported by Erasmus+ project: «Network of National Office».
Welcoming were made by remarks by the Deputy Head of the Department for International Cooperation of the Ministry of Education German Artamonov, Coordinator of the Erasmus+ Office in the Republic of Belarus Oksana Minich, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the Belarusian State Pedagogical University named after M.Tank Alexander Makovchik and Director of the Center for International Relations Alexander Samuilich, highlighting the importance of participation in international projects as one of the key tools in ensuring the quality of higher education in accordance with national and international standards.
The seminar was attended by representatives of higher education institutions: BSU, BSUIR, BSPU named after M. Tank, SB BSU, PSU, GSTU , providing experience of using ICT in order to improve the quality of education in the framework of the implementation of the Erasmus+ projects - IESED, BELL, PRINTeL. Under the project were developed electronic online courses, virtual academy of teaching and learning, opened new laboratories and resource centers for creating video content and organizing the educational process, created an inter-university platform for e-learning.
The experience gained through implementation of the projects will be of interest to all higher educational institutions of the country, given the increased demand for the use of ICT in the educational process.
Currently there are 17 Erasmus + projects with 26 participants from institutions of higher education are operating in Belarus.
