Due to removal of entry restrictions to China, the Center for International Relations in cooperation with key higher education institutions of Belarus will take part in a major international educational exhibition 'China Education Expo' in Beijing, PRC from February 15 to February 23, 2023, during which collective thematic exposition 'Education in Belarus' with a presentation of educational programs of Belarusian universities will be presented.

During the course of the visit of Belarusian delegation there is going to be a meeting with representatives of Department of International Cooperation of Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China, as well as negotiations with leaders of Chinese Association of International Exchange in Education "KAMOSO" with a goal to discuss the prospects for cooperation in organization of academic exchange of students, graduates and teaching staff.

Within the framework of the event it is planned to conduct negotiations on promotion of educational services of Belarusian higher education institutions in China with a leading consulting agency of the PRC, Jin Jile LLC, as well as Ginger Study Abroad, Tao Xing Zhi Education Foundation, Qidian Education, Study in China: Hongzhou Learning, Beijing Cultural Exchange Company "Bridge" LLC.

At the moment, the cooperation between China and Belarus in educational sphere is actively developing. More than 540 direct agreements on cooperation between higher education institutions of Belarus and China have been signed. Currently about 500 Belarusian citizens are studying in China, while the number of Chinese students in Belarusian universities has reached 8000.
