Ambassador of Belarus in the Republic of Indonesia Roman Romanovsky at the opening of the 33rd Indonesian International Education Exhibition
January 23, 2025. Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Indonesia Roman Romanovsky took part in the opening of the 33rd Indonesia International Education Training Expo & Conference 2025, which is being held from January 23 to 26, 2025 in Jakarta, Republic of Indonesia. During the visit of the exhibition the Ambassador shared information about the national system of higher education of the Republic of Belarus. Since August 2024 the “Center for International Relations” together with the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Indonesia has been carrying out systematic work to establish and strengthen cooperation in the field of education between Belarus and Indonesia.
Taking into account the positive experience of training a group of Indonesian students at BSU within the one-semester program Indonesian International Student Mobility, as well as in order to increase the recognition of Belarusian education in foreign markets, attract foreign citizens to study at Belarusian educational institutions, the Center for International Relations together with the Embassy of Belarus in Indonesia is currently working out the issue of organizing a business visit of the Belarusian delegation to Indonesia in 2025. Holding negotiations during the business visit is expected at the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology in order to sign the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology.
