On January 3, 2025 the State Unitary Enterprise “Center for International Relations” held negotiations with the Association of Educational Technologies of Sichuan Province, PRC “Sichuan Weishu Lifang Education Technology”, as well as with the Association of International Exchange Personnel of Hebei Province, PRC “Hebei Association of International Exchange Personal” in order to establish and intensify Belarusian-Chinese cooperation in the field of education.

During the negotiations the possibility of signing a cooperation agreement aimed at promoting educational services of higher education institutions of the Republic of Belarus in the People's Republic of China, holding joint information events both in China and Belarus was discussed.

Within the negotiations, such issues as attracting Chinese students to study at higher education institutions of the Republic of Belarus in order to learn the Russian language, the possibility of organizing thematic summer and winter schools for Chinese students, promoting academic mobility between higher education institutions of the two countries, as well as organizing mutual visits and internships for the teaching staff of higher education institutions of the Republic of Belarus and the People's Republic of China in order to exchange information about the Russian language, were discussed.
