On Saturday, July 24, the international holiday "Cherry Festival" took place in the town Glubokoe, where the excursion program "GLUBOKOE. CHERRY FESTIVAL" was celebrated.

A group of foreign students from China had a unique opportunity to see the beauty of the northern region of Belarus - Vitebsk region, plunge into the festive atmosphere of the festival, admire the majesty of the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Budslav and visit the "Belarusian Versailles" (Church of St. Anna) in the village of Mosar.

Glubokoe is famous for its cherries; in 2013, a monumental and decorative sculpture "Cherry" has become an attraction for residents and guests. The participants of the excursion program were able to taste pastries with cherries. There were many treats, and even more entertainment. The solemn part of the holiday took place on the city square: a theatrical procession and a festive program "Cherry melodies of Glubochina". All participants of the excursion program returned home with a lot of positive emotions and impressions, as well as with a sweet memorable souvenir: cherry condensed milk!
