Visit of the Belarusian delegation to Turkey
In the period from 23 to 25 February 2021, a delegation of representatives of higher education institutions of the Republic of Belarus visited Istanbul (Republic of Turkey). 6 HEIs took part in the business visit: Belarusian National Technical University, Brest State University named after A.S. Pushkin , Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov , Gomel State University named after F. Skorina , Grodno State University named after Y. Kupala, Polotsk State University.
This visit was organized with the assistance of the Consulate General of the Republic of Belarus in Istanbul in order to inform a wide range of interested parties about the diversity of Belarusian educational services, as well as to discuss specific areas of cooperation in the near future.


Within the framework of the business trip, visits to Istanbul University and Aydin University in Istanbul were organized. The representatives of the delegation got acquainted with the organization of work on university campuses. The business meeting with the President of the Eurasian Union of Universities (EURAS) Mustafa Aydin became significant, during which the Consul General of Belarus in Istanbul Aleksey Shved conveyed the official invitation of the Minister of Education of Belarus Igor Karpenko to visit our country on a working visit.



During two sessions of a full-day seminar at the Consulate General, members of the Belarusian delegation informed a wide range of participants, namely more than 10 Turkish universities, recruiting agencies, representatives of city authorities, about the current stage of development of the higher education system in the Republic of Belarus, presented the brand "Education in Belarus", bachelor's and master's programs, refresher courses, summer and winter schools, Russian language courses.
