Collective exhibition "Education in Belarus" at the International Educational Exhibition in Kazakhstan

The International Educational Exhibition "International Education Fair – 2025" started in Astana on March 3, 2025. The event attracted the attention of more than 7,000 9th-10th grade students from all over Kazakhstan, providing them with a unique opportunity to familiarize themselves with educational programs from various countries.

The leading universities of the country are represented at the collective stand of Belarusian education: Belarusian State University, Grodno State University named after Ya. Kupala and Belarusian State Technological University in full-time form, as well as Vitebsk State University named after P. M. Masherov in correspondence form. The organization of the collective exposition and the visit of the Belarusian delegation was provided by the Center for International Relations of the Ministry of Education.

The exhibition includes participants from many countries, including Turkey, Canada, Azerbaijan, Hungary, Cyprus, Lithuania, South Korea, Uzbekistan, Georgia and many others. Foreign universities include Bilkent University (Turkey), Woosong University (South Korea) and Webster UniversityTashkent (Uzbekistan).






Alexey Bogdanov, Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Kazakhstan, took part in the opening ceremony of the exhibition, noting the importance of international educational exchange and cooperation for the development of educational initiatives and strengthening ties between the countries.

On March 4, the Belarusian delegation visited the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University and the S. Seifulin Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University. During the visits, meetings were held with university faculty to discuss opportunities for international cooperation in the field of higher education development. The issues of organizing joint educational programs, opening joint faculties, and academic mobility of teaching and student staff between educational institutions in Belarus and Kazakhstan were discussed.





A visit to the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in Kazakhstan was also organized on March 4. During the visit to the Embassy, the Belarusian delegation met with Ambassador of Belarus to Kazakhstan Alexey Bogdanov and Chairman of the Association of Belarusian Cultural Centers of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Rodny Kut" Dmitry Ostankovich. During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the state and prospects of development of Belarusian-Kazakh cooperation in the field of higher education, science and innovation.

On March 6, the work of the thematic exposition "Education in Belarus" within the framework of the International Educational Exhibition "International Education Fair – 2025" continued in Almaty. According to the organizers, about 3,500 potential applicants from among the citizens of Kazakhstan visited the exhibition.


This significant event will be an excellent opportunity for applicants from Kazakhstan to learn more about Belarusian educational programs and admission to universities in the country.
