Music of an Italian composer in the center of the capital of Belarus
The concert "Friendship without Borders" by the famous Italian composer and conductor Paolo Carlome on January 5 in the Great Hall of the Belarusian State Academy of Music marked the beginning of international events dedicated to the Year of Peace and Creation, declared by the President of the Republic of Belarus. The students' symphony orchestra of the Academy performed the author's music of the Italian composer and other famous pieces of music under the guidance of conductors Paolo Carlome and Vitaliy Grishchenko throughout the evening on the stage of the Great Hall of the Belarusian State Academy of Music.
Paolo Carlome is one of the most famous composers of Italy, many of his works are written for TV industry, for documentary films and cultural programs.

The organizers of the cultural event were the member of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly Igor Zavaley and the director of the Italian House Simone Trasardi.

The event was made possible thanks to the organizational and financial support of the Humanitarian and Educational Republican Unitary Enterprise "Center of International Relations" of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus and the sponsorship of the Italian commercial enterprises (LLC Technologies G.B.), as well as the Italian House in Minsk. During the event there was also the tasting of traditional Italian foods and drinks.
Cooperation between the Italian Republic and the Republic of Belarus in the sphere of culture and humanitarian activities has been significant for many years. During the 30 years of the Centre's activity more than 500 joint innovative programs and projects of Italian-Belarusian cooperation in education, culture and economy have been implemented. An illustrative example of mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation is the implementation of an innovative project of regional interaction between the Center and the Autonomous Region of Sardinia. This project has given a serious quality momentum in the intensification of activities for the implementation of joint cultural and educational projects and programs.
