In the period from November 17 to 21, 2020, a business trip of a delegation of representatives of higher education institutions of the Republic of Belarus took place in Nur-Sultan (Republic of Kazakhstan). The business trip was organized by the Centre for International Relations with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Kazakhstan in order to promote Belarusian services in the field of education, organize the exchange of students and teachers, implement joint educational programs and research projects by universities of the two countries.

In the framework of the business trip was organized visit to the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the International University of Astana, which was held the international seminar "Internationalization of higher education: improving the quality and practical orientation" with the participation of representatives of the higher-educational institutions of the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Kazakhstan in offline and online formats. Business negotiations were held in «Center for International Programs»; Meetings were organized with the management and teaching staff of the Astana International University, M. Narikbayev KAZGUU University, with representatives of the consulting company "ALEM Educational Systems "and the research center "CRC: Center for Research and Consulting".

Business trip of delegation of representatives of the higher-educational institutions of the Republic of Belarus has contributed to the establishment of direct contacts between Belarusian and Kazakhstani institutions of higher education, which were identified mutually beneficial areas and forms of cooperation for implementation of joint projects, academic and scientific exchanges and other joint initiatives aimed at innovation in education.
